Returns & Refund Policy

At usedwatertanks.com, we strive to ensure a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience for all our customers. Below is our policy regarding returns, refunds, and cancellations:

1. Items Not Eligible for Return
We cannot accept returns for the following products:

Products that have been damaged due to misuse or show signs of wear, even if they are under warranty.
Items that have been used, altered, assembled, or installed unless they are found to be defective.
Products with opened packaging, unless the product is defective.
Tanks or similar items that have been removed from their original packaging.
Items that were custom-built or specially ordered.

2. Return & Cancellation Conditions

If a product has no manufacturing defects and you decide to return or cancel it after delivery, you will be responsible for covering the transportation charges based on a pro-rata calculation.
Note: Currently, we do not offer an exchange service. If you wish to change the product, you will need to return the original product and place a new order for the replacement.

3. How to Return Products
To return an item, please follow these guidelines:

Ensure the product is in its original condition and return it within 3 days of delivery.
Include the original invoice, all accessories, promotional gifts, and warranty cards that came with your purchase.
The product should be returned in its original packaging to ensure it is protected during transit.

4. Refund Process for Credit/Debit Card Payments
If you paid using a credit or debit card, here’s how the refund process works:

2-3 business days: We will receive your returned items.
2 business days: We will conduct a quality check and issue the refund.
4-15 business days: Your bank or card issuer will process the refund (processing times may vary).

5. Will VAT Be Refunded?
Yes, VAT will be refunded as long as you include the original invoice with your return.

6. Returning Products at the Time of Delivery
You have the option to return your order directly to our delivery partner at the time of delivery. However, you will be responsible for transportation charges.

7. Cash on Delivery & Credit Voucher Refunds
If you purchased an item using Cash on Delivery and returned it for a Credit Voucher, any new purchases made with the voucher are not eligible for a cash refund. Cash refunds are only available for items originally purchased using Cash on Delivery.
